Based on the video "How To Ruin Everything," I can tell that the speaker is a great writer from the narration of the video. He is observant and doesn't give up on what he wants. The speaker learns a lot from his surroundings, people, and himself. I believe the speaker was speaking to anyone who is trying to reach their dreams and goals by telling his story and how he got to where he is today. He started his comedy career by traveling to various places and putting on gigs for small audiences. He got plane tickets, stayed in cheap motels, rented small cars, and ate cheap unhealthy food. In the video, he says that some days hurt his ego and some boost it but he still hasn't given up or changed what he truly loves to do; make people laugh. I do connect with the video because I hope to own a business one day, but I know it won't be a piece of cake to do. I will have to start from the bottom and work my way up just like the process the speaker is going through in the video. I found the little things he said through at the video funny. For example when he was describing the gas station and food places on his trips. The name "Kum & Go" gas station had me laughing hard lol. I like this video because it teaches you that what you want comes with hard work and dedication. It's not easy, but will pay off in the end.
